Scottish Blackface National Show
Hosted by the Scottish Blackface Breeders Union at this year’s NAHSS, this national breed show is open to all pure, registered Scottish Blackface.
It is our greatest desire to see Blackface represented on a national scale, and we hope that each and every breeder encourages one another to come and make a difference for the breed that we all feel so passionately for.
This is a fantastic event to not only promote your farm, but also so sell and buy premium breeding stock from other farms around the country.
Below you will find a list of classes that you can look forward to entering:
Aged Ram (2+ Years Old)
Yearling Ram – (2024 only)
Ram Lamb – (2025 only)
Aged Ewe (2+ Years Old)
Yearling Ewe – (2024 only)
Ewe Lamb – (2025 only)
Dam & Daughter
Group of 3 “Small Flock” (1 male, 2 females)

Special rosettes and a perpetual UK trophy cup-donated by the first Nationals judge, Mr. David Baillie, of Calla Farm, Scotland- will go to the Best of Nationals.
The class winners will go on to compete in the rest of the North American Hill Sheep Show classes up to Best of Hill Sheep for the NAHSS.
This upcoming National Show’s purpose is to showcase the best representatives of the breed to attract buyers, promote the Blackface's unique attributes, and encourage the preservation of its genetic lineage here in the States.
We need YOU to be there with sheep!
Don’t wait until the next one, start making plans now to attend!
All entries will be submitted through the NAHSS’s Showman App.
