The good think about days getting shorter?

We can take advantage of an earlier dusk for a FREE family-friendly Movie in the Park!

Right there on the lawn in Central Park at the Band Shell, you can lay out a blanket or bring your favorite lawn chair!

Concession will be running inside the Little Bear Arena only a few feet away!

This year’s NAHSS in Manistique will close with a parade!

Music, dancers, floats, tractors, and of course…sheep!

A very pastoral contest is the HAY Competition.

We all know that quality hay is important, so let's celebrate those long hours making hay while the sun shines!

Bring your best, toss some on a table with the rest of the farmers,
and see whose is deemed the best!

This year there will be a Alfalfa FREE and WITH Alfalfa category.

A Cornish Pasty is as much at home and loved in the UP as is it in the UK, and we know there are some excellent pasty bakers around!

Enter your best pasty-we won’t ask for your secret family recipe, we promise!- and see if you’re deemed the winner!

Friday night after the Farm-To-Table Dinner, enjoy some traditional country dancing in Central Park by the bandshell!

From custom sheep crooks to the NAHSS quilt, the raffle table always has some treasures!

Be sure to check it out!

There will be a sheepdog clinic lessons going on in the baseball field on Friday and Saturday.

Sit and have a picnic lunch and watch the dogs run!

With a variety of classes,

including the Group of 3 (and Group of 3 Championship!),

stunning rosettes, trophy cups, and UK judges,

shepherds are going to have a seriously great time around the ring this year!
