Our Beginnings
Steve and Briana’s roles on the board of the Scottish Blackface Breeders Union illuminated the real need for an event that would champion UK hill breeds and unite shepherds over shared passions.
Thus, The North American Hill Sheep Show was born, designed to immerse attendees in the joys of UK-style sheep events, all while providing a supportive environment where both novice and experienced shepherds could thrive, especially those raising breeds such as the Scottish Blackface.

The Scottish Blackface Breeders Union is not a registry, it is a promotional group!
It welcomes like-minded shepherds that appreciate this unique breed for what they are, and maybe even especially, for what they are not.
